As first written for the learn. do. teach. newsletter that comes out on Sundays!
Below is actionable guidance so don't just read, but also take action. Today is your Sunday reminder that in order to make the most of the next week you need to start off your morning by eating a large live frog. Gross, right?
What is the bane of your existence? What are you putting off?
For me it is usually laundry or setting up an appointment. Today it was writing the second newsletter. Now I at least feel like I accomplished something rather than feel guilty for putting it off until the end of the day or that magical place known as tomorrow.
ACTION TIME: Instead of creating a long detailed to do list for today, think of what is one thing that you know you should be getting to, but you don't want to. Go do that. Eat that frog. Feel free to make the mental or physical to do list, but only after you have done the worst most pressing thing first. It is easy to get overwhelmed, but that leads to doing nothing. Go forth and do something, preferably something that stinks. You can hold yourself extra accountable by commenting below and letting me know that you ate the frog.
